So, here I am with my superfast 330 MBPS Fibre connection and as grown online I start to get asked for more than doggo makes. Do you do anything cat, pig cow ?

I started to see more people asking for more animals, maybe the Crazy Dog Pawtique could be more than just , things for dogs and dog people? Maybe I should offer Maud with her 40 cats a bag or a mug. Yes I think maybe now is the time to move away from just specialising into something more! Again the idea grew, but I was nervous, I had to invest more money into the business to offer more, should I take the risk

I decided nothing ventured nothing gained.. I needed a new name... The Crazy Dog Pawtique was a wonderful name but people would think I just did doggy things. What should I call my new expanded business?

Lucy Locket

Of course there was only one thing to do and now the time was right! Lucy Locket's but there was a few businesses called Lucy Locket, I needed something else ....

Lucy Locket's Studio. In memory of my amazing girl who was always by my side

My dream had grown and now it was time to honour my girl..

Well we had battled with the net for so long, we'd just about given up when superfast Cornwall got in touch and asked if we were struggling with speeds! Struggling maybe an understatement, we told them I'd had to close my online business due to slow, unreliable and broken net services.

It was then a few months later we got fibre to premises. My business online world was finally able to take off, Fibre to premises transformed my life! Thank you superfast Cornwall, BT and Open Reach!

This was the start of something amazing........

So here I am with an old stripped out caravan for £50, Now the real work starts, while still trying to run the business, by now I'd given up on online sales as I'd just got such a slow connection it had become impossible, unless I went out to use Mc Donald's connection!

The 1st job was to cure the damp the interior roof had to be removed, I was lucky the floor was sound and didn't need any work.

My husband started to make the shelves, all from upcycled wood., and I started to paint the dull walls. We re lined the roof and added insulation.

The next job was to design, cut and fit the graphics. I wanted it to look like the name the Crazy Dog Pawtique, It was then ready for stock to be added.

Then came opening day and it went well. People were talking about the caravan shop. At this point it was still very hard to promote myself online. Still no reliable net and my connection was off most days or too slow to load even emails. It was very hard!!

Unless I went out, it was impossible to get online at times!
